Michael Gordon Squires

Michael Gordon Squires, died April 22, 2000 on Earth Day.

He was born in Salt Lake City, September 10, 1955 to Leslie Gordon and Margaret Belnap Squires. Mike was a delightful surprise to come into their lives.The last 12 years were such a struggle being trapped in a crippled body with a sharp mind. He loved getting in his gold bug or red VW camper and heading for the hills with the Grateful Dead or Stones playing on the stereo. He loved good friends, good food and good times. Michael was a skilled carpenter and loved doing stained glass. Mike experimented with life at all levels.

Survived by his sisters, Leslie (Mike), Chris (Ken), and their families. Preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held April 26, 2000 at 2 p.m. in the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park (Memorial Park Section), 3401 So. Highland Dr. Friends may call from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary prior to services.
