
KEVIN LYNN KELSEY
Kevin Lynn Kelsey (66), beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away with his family by his side on January 16, 2022.
Kevin was a hard worker and very loving father. He loved spending time with his family at Sunday dinners. Kevin married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Marty Evans, on July 11, 1977 in the Salt Lake Temple, and they went on to have 6 children. Kevin was very active in the LDS church and with the Young Men's program, particularly the Boy Scouts. He also served as a counselor in the bishopric. He was a genuine and kind person and a symbol of Christ-like virtue. He was a master plumber and was very proud of his work with Utah pipe trades. He was the founder of Kelsey Plumbing, a successful business, and he was very generous with those that needed his services.
Kevin loved going boating and always enjoyed taking his family to places like Rockport, Bear Lake, and Lake Powell. He was competitive at slalom skiing and was able to enjoy water skiing his entire life. He also enjoyed snow skiing, playing basketball, reading, and four-wheeling. He loved traveling with his wife and laying in the sun on a cruise ship.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ruel and Kathryn Kelsey and his brother Brent (Sally) Kelsey.
He is survived by his siblings Steve (Justine) Kelsey, Renee (Allen) Ferneilus, Trish (Jan) Brady, Scott (Connie) Kelsey, and Colleen (Doug) Carroll. He is survived by his wife, Marty and 6 children, Adam, Randy (Allison), Jon, Nathan, Katie (Matt), Tyler (Jena) and six grandchildren, Benjamin, Caroline, Makenzie, Kingsley, Harrison, and Evangeline. His family loves him dearly.
