Christine Ann Coombs Pitts, 41, died Thursday, December 18, 1997 of complications due to chemotherapy.
She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 28, 1956 to Clarence S. and Dorothy Brown Coombs. She married Brian Dean Pitts on June 17, 1976 and one year later was sealed to him in the Salt Lake Temple. Chris was active in the LDS Church. She was born with a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and she never doubted. She served with joy in many capacities, including Relief Society President (past and Young Women's President (currently) in the West Jordan 27th Ward.
Chris had many gifts, including the ability to make everyone around her feel good. She loved to serve other people and she worked hard to make life fun and enjoyable for herself, her family, and her friends. She had a perpetual smile.
Chris' greatest joy in life was her faily. She is survived by her husband, Brian; seven children, Nicole, Aaron, Matthew, Kimberly, Rachel, Angela, and Erica; mother, Dorothy; sistr, Dorothy (Emil) Rotz; three brothers, Lommie Coombs, mark (Karlin) Coombs, David (Rhea) Coombs; grandfather, Lom J. Coombs.
